Connect “Change Jar” to your debit card to make everyday purchases part of your savings plan.

Enrollment in the Change Jar Program automatically rounds up the amount of any debit card purchase on your checking account to the next whole dollar amount and deposits it into your savings account. For example, if you make a purchase for $12.50 with your debit card, $0.50 will “round up” into your savings account automatically.

• Available for Regular Checking and Teen Checking accounts with active debit cards.

• Round-ups are posted collectively at the end of each weekday into your savings account. Weekend transactions are posted collectively on Monday evening.

• All debit card purchases will activate a change round-up.

• ATM transactions do not initiate a round-up.

• If a purchase made with your debit card is canceled or returned, only the original debit amount will be refunded. You will not see a reversal of the round-up amount as it will remain in your savings account.

• Participation is done at the account level. Any debit card connected to participating checking accounts will be enrolled.
